Camp Kitty is seeking to place sterilized, vaccinated, and tested cats into barn homes. These kitties can no longer stay where they are for various reasons and would not make suitable house pets. Our current hopeful is Dizzy. Do you know someone who can provide the bare necessities? Email Becky for more information.
Our Featured Feline!
Winston is Wonderful!
Poor Winston is a bit on the wimpy side, but he is wonderful as well! He's so sweet but he lets the other cats pick on him! Check out those poor, torn up ears courtesy of the cats at the barn where he was dumped. He's a lover, not a fighter, I guess. He loves to be petted and to sleep on the bed. His favorite place in the whole house is atop a couch cushion! He's looking for a home where his sensitive soul will be appreciated. Yours, perhaps? Email Becky for more information about adopting Winston or any of our fosters!
We will be at Petco in Ann Arbor on Saturday, July 4th, from 11-2:30. Come meet these precious souls.
In Loving Memory
Beloved Barkley passed away recently. This is mom Tracy's favorite picture of her. May she rest in peace - and have plenty of critters to chase on legs that don't hurt. You are all in our prayers.
Oh, Tootsie! Good thing a picture says a thousand words - 'cause we have none! Thanks to mom Tanya for the fun picture!
Could Stewie be any cuter? We thought not! Thanks to mom Kim for the cute picture!
This pair is awful cute, too! Sproket and Aidan became fast friends! Thanks to mom Emily for the adorable picture!
Roku's got a lotta tummy to rub! Thanks to mom Teresa for the belly shot! Hi to dad Kevin and big brother Jakob, too!
Koda is ever so helpful with the paperwork! Thanks to mom Dayna for the adorable picture!
Jack the Tripper is without a doubt one of the best new names we've heard of - wish we had thought of it ourselves! What a handsome guy! Thanks to mom Ginny for the beautiful picture!
Captain (the cat) and Kaite (the girl) both sure look content! Thanks to mom Mariel for the sweet picture!
Clover and her best pal Stumbles (may she rest in peace) grab a little couch time. Thanks to mom Meaghan for the beautiful picture!
Cairo Lily and Sitara survey their queendom from the top of the frig! Thanks to mom Danielle for the cute picture - and for being the adopter who has most stayed in touch - we appreciate that!

Home for Good!
In an effort to maintain adoptions, we are instituting a sliding scale adoption fee of $60 to $95 for cats and kittens six months and older (occasional exceptions may apply), for as long as we can afford it. What's the catch? The catch is YOU decide where on the scale you belong.
Low Cost Spay/Neuter
Our friends at All About Animals Rescue are pleased to announce low cost sterilization services for owned pets. Cats are $40 and dogs are just $80. This is a great deal! Get all the details by visiting their website here .

Barn Cats Available
Do you know someone who has a warm barn and a warm heart? We'd like to hear from you! There are always cats that aren't suited to living in homes that need a roof over their heads and food in their tummies. We're looking for barns or outbuildings that are heated or have large animals for warmth. These cats depend on humans for food and water, so that has to be part of the deal as well.
A Camp Kitty barn cat, a.k.a. Gary's cat or Ms. Sniff, with her best friend and constant companion Bonnie! P.S. Bonnie is a miniature horse...Ms. Sniff is not a giant cat...

Who We Are
We are a 501(c)3 no-kill cat and kitten rescue group. Our mission is to place homeless, unwanted or abused cats and kittens into permanent, responsible homes. We also take on the occasional collie and beagle.
Animals are given comprehensive veterinary care including feline leukemia virus and FIV testing (heartwrom testing for the dogs), sterilization, immunizations, and parasite control. In addition, animals with special health issues receive the care they need, and every animal is microchipped. Because all animals are fostered in our homes, they are well socialized before adoption.
WE CANNOT TAKE ANY CATS AT THIS TIME AND EMAILS WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED. If you have a cat that you must find a home for, try putting an ad in the Petfinder classifieds. It's easy and it's free.
Adopting a friend
We seek to place our animals in permanent, loving homes. To enable us to help you select the best cat for you, we ask you to fill out an adoption screening form. This tells us about your kitty know-how, wants, and needs. Our adoption fee for most cats and kittens is $95. We can accept cash or check made out to Camp Kitty; we are unable to take credit or debit cards at this time. All cats and kittens have been tested for feline leukemia, have age-appropriate shots, have been microchipped, and are spayed or neutered. They even come with a month of low cost health insurance, courtesy of Petfinder. What a bargain! Sorry, we cannot do out-of-state adoptions.
