During the summer months we are taking donations to help with medical expenses that any adoptable pet may need to find a forever home.
We are always in need of: Bleach, trash bags, cat litter, blankets, towels, food, Laundry Det., dish det., paper towels, stuffed animals, toys, anything that would be useful for the animals.
Heartworm Awareness:
If in doubt, get your pet checked out!!! Heartworms can be deadly if left untreated. If your pet is not on Heartworm Preventative, please have them tested and start them on heartworm preventative. It can save their life.
We also have someone that can pet sit in Laurens if you cannot board your pet at a kennel. Pet(s) must be non-aggressive, fully vaccinated, and healthy. No sick pets, please. Rates start at $10 a day for one trip. Prices vary depending on number of pets/size, how many trips required to home, and other services. If you need a groomer:
We have a groomer at Clinton Animal Hospital that can groom. Groomers name is Taffy Senn, if you would like an appointment, please call 864-833-2487.
We also have a groomer that we recommend in Clinton. Groomers name is Sarah Greene and if you would like an appointment, please call 864-833-5404.
We have clinic day every Thursday between 9-10 am for vaccinations. No appointment is needed.
Rabies is $4.00 normally $8.00

Kennel Cough is $9.00
No office call charge during clinic hour on Thursdays. We only do shots during the clinic hour, nothing else. So if you need to see a vet, please make an appointment.
Who We Are
The Four Paws and a Plan has taken on the task of trying to place animals from our local pound. Our goals are to prevent the destroying of as many adoptable animals as possible and to ensure that they are placed in good quality "forever homes". If you do not see one that you like today, please continue to check as we get in many new, loving, and adorable companions every day just looking for that perfect home. We have gotten our rescue name registered, we will now be working on our non-profit application, so that all donations can be tax deductible for anyone who would like to donate to help save the lives of unwanted and abused animals.
Adopting a friend
We are very strict with our adoption process. We check all vet and other references to ensure our animals go to a loving home. We check vet references for any pet that has been owned before hand; was current with all vaccines and on heartworm preventative(dogs). This is one of our requirements for adoption.
Our adoption fee of $45.00 includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming and a 1st months supply of Revolution for fleas. An adoption requirement for dogs/puppies, we require the new owner to purchase a 6 month supply of heartworm preventative, 6 month supply of flea and tick preventative along with the $45 adoption fee. An adoption requirement for kittens/cats, we require the new owner to purchase a 6 month supply of flea preventative along with the $45 adoption fee.

If you are interested in adopting one of the pets on our website, please send an e-mail to fourpawsandaplan@gmail.com with the name of the pet that you are interested in and I will send you an application or you can call the clinic at 864-833-2487 and ask for an application to be faxed to you. Once the application has been completed you can either e-mail it back or FAX it to 864-833-6509. Alternatively, you can come directly to the clinic to see our "adoptables" and fill out the application while you are there. All adoption applications will be checked for Vet references before any application is approved.
