Bladen County Animal Shelter

The adoption fee for all pets is $25.00 plus an additional $10 for a rabies vaccination given at the shelter.

You, as the adopter or rescue organization, are responsible for any and all veterinary work given. No health or temperament guarantees are given or implied.

This shelter has changed its policy on working with rescues, and currently is limiting the days which rescues can pull to Tuesdays and Thursdays by advance appointment. Please call Silvia at 910-876-0539 if you are interested in an animal at the shelter. Note that some of these animals are in foster care and have alternate contact information.

There is no pull fee for 501(c)3 rescue organizations but they will pay $10 for a rabies vaccination given at the shelter. A rescue can always adopt during normal business hours by paying the $25 fee plus $10 for rabies vaccination.
