WHO WE ARE:
We are a nonprofit, charitable (501c3) animal welfare organization that works to end the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals in Bulloch County.
By helping increase the number of cats and dogs that are spayed or neutered the Humane Society of Statesboro and Bulloch County hopes to reduce the number of unwanted animals produced.
Some members foster unwanted animals in their homes and present them at weekend adoption events. We also work to educate the citizens of Bulloch County on humane pet treatment and the value of spaying and neutering.
We work in conjunction with the Bulloch County Animal Shelter, as well as other animal rescue groups, to accomplish these goals.
Our monthly meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at St Matthews Catholic Church, Gentilly Road at John Paul Avenue, Statesboro, Georgia.
New members are always welcome!
WE NEED YOUR HELP
Donating your time, money or opening your home enables us to save more unwanted animals.
We need volunteers to attend and help at adoption events, promote spaying and neutering and help with fundraising events.
Foster homes for dogs and cats are always needed.
We are desperately in need of financial support to enable us to promote spaying and neutering, provide care for the animals we rescue and to fund our educational endeavors.
