Our Featured Pet...

What a friendly guy! Jackson is about 1 year old and has a soft coat that is shiny and beautiful. He was rescued with his little friend, Josie, from a busy highway. He has full Rottie markings and is quite a handsome, happy boy! He is very smart and loves to cover you in kisses! Jackson would love a home where he would be a loving member of the family. Please email us for more information on this lovebug!

Who We Are

Best Friends Furever is working toward a time when all cats and dogs are cared for. We rescue unwanted, injured, and abandoned animals. We provide them with medical care, rehabilitation, and temporary homes until loving, "furever" homes can be found. We spay and neuter prospective pets and educate owners about the importance of pet population control. We believe no animal should go unloved. We hope to promote respect and compassion for all animals as partners in the human existence. Best Friends FurEver is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, funded by donations, fundraisers, and adoption fees, that works to find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs and cats. All donations are federal tax deductible.

Adopting a friend

Our companion animals are either home-fostered, boarded at professional clinics, or in boarding facilities while in our care. Each animal is altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and health checked. All potential adoptive families must complete our adoption screening process. When inquiring about an animal, please include information about yourself, family, other pets, work hours, etc. Our adoption fee is $150.00. This includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip.

Fosters Needed!

FOSTERING is the very foundation of most rescue organizations. Without the generosity of foster families who open their homes to a an animal in need, we would not be able to save as many homeless animals. All of our rescues are not lucky enough to be in foster homes. We would like to place EVERY Rescue dog in a foster home where it can experience the love, care, and the attention that it needs and deserves while it is waiting to be adopted. Won't you consider fostering an animal in need who wants a second chance at a happy life? Fostering is a very rewarding experience, not only for the dogs, but for you, too!

Come Visit Us!

We have adoption every Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. in the parking lot at the United Methodist Church, 1799 S. Woodland Hills, in Kingwood. From Hwy 59N, exit Kingwood Dr., turn right on Kingwood Dr., go to Woodland Hills and take another right, and follow the signs!

Please consider a DONATION if you cannot foster a dog or cat at this time! Your gift will be spent on such things as veterinary care, food, and supplies. There are no paid employees of Best Friends Rescue. We are all volunteers so the money you donate goes directly to the animals!
