Our Pet of the Month

Curley Sue is a very energetic and fun-loving 2 year old Spaniel mix. She really needs a family with kids that she can run and play with. She is spayed and current on shots and worming.

NEWS

The Beeville Humane Society will be building a shelter in the near future. We have found the perfect location. Now we have to put the deal together and with any luck by this fall we will be in our own sanctuary.

Who We Are

The Beeville Humane Society is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1970. The wonderful group of people who started the organization worked very closely with the Beeville Animal Control to build a shelter to house the homeless pets in our community. They worked very hard to find homes for the dogs and cats and made many hard decisions to do the best for these pets. Our current small group of people are trying equally hard to save as many homeless pets from death as we can and to keep these lucky pets healthy and safe until we find them permanent homes. This includes twice daily care as well as raising funds to do this.

Adopting a Friend

We always have great dogs that we love who are ready to find a family of their own. We always have lots of cats who a loving, sweet and of course perfect. Our adoption fees are: $30.00 for male cats, $40.00 for male dogs, and $50.00 for female cats and dogs. If the pups and kittens are under 6 months, you will get a certificate to ahve them fixed at one of our local veterinarians. For information on adopting a pet anytime call Terry at 361-343-0116.

Volunteering and Donations

The Beeville Humane Society needs the help of our community to protect and help the homeless dogs and cats. We are very short-handed and can use the help of people who can donate their time by writing letters, cleaning cages, helping with fundraisers, walking dogs or petting cats and soon by helping out at our new shelter. We also can use help with the cost of upkeep.
