Check out this great site: www.dogsdeservebetter.com Who We AreThe Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley, Inc. was founded by a group of residents of Schoharie County disturbed by the plight of the many starved, abused and stray animals in this area. ASSV is a not for profit organization and is made up of all volunteer members and board of directors, with the exception of the shelter manager and kennel workers. The goal of ASSV has been to try to alleviate stray animal suffering and to build a shelter to house, feed and care for these animals until safe and loving homes are found for them.
