OUR ANGELS NEED SOME HELP: We are in desperate need of monetary donations to pay for heartworm treatments, which are very expensive, and other medical treatments. We also need a couple of bark collars, large thick towels to use as bedding inside the wire kennels and the large size Milk Bone dog bisquits. Without donations, we have a hard time staying afloat. Any amount you can spare will definitely be put to good use. We receive no funding other than what we recieve as donations and adoption fees. In most cases, the adoption fee does not cover the expenses we have put into these angels. We are PLEADING for your help. Check with your employer, some will match donations. We also need more foster homes and volunteers to help us at our weekly adoptions. PLEASE HELP!
Please donate today, and help us continue to make a difference!

Angel's rescue was founded by Betty Wiley. She became concerned by the plight of dogs abandoned at a local lake, and began feeding them. Eventually she was able to catch some of the dogs, and find homes for them. Here we are today. Most of our animals are either rescued lake dogs, or are rescued from local animal shelters when their time is running out. We frequently have puppies available for adoption as well.
Angels Rescue is a small nonprofit (501c3) group comprised of volunteers who dedicate themselves to rescuing dogs. We are a "no kill" rescue group, operating solely on donations. We do not receive any type of government or institutional funding.
Our volunteers foster our rescue dogs in their own homes. Our rescue dogs are introduced to other dogs and then socialized within their foster family.
We normally spay/neuter each animal before they are adopted, with a few exceptions. If they are not spayed/neutered before the adoption (such as puppies), we will have the procedure done after the adoption. We provide all our rescue dogs with medical treatment, good food, exercise, love and all the socialization they need. For us to continue our level of care, your help is needed.

Adopting a New Friend
Our adoption process consists of filling out a pre-adoption questionnaire, which is then reviewed by the foster parent. An interview will then be scheduled. If approved, then the adoption contract will be signed and the adoption fee paid. We do not ship dogs.
If you find an animal you really like, feel free to fill out the pre-adoption questionnaire and the adoption form ahead of time and bring them with you to adoption day, or save them and email them to us. Please be patient...they take a little while to load (and you must enable the macros).

Our Policy...
Each of our dogs is adopted as an indoor family pet, not as a outdoor watchdog, a breeding dog, or a fighting dog.
Each adopted animal must be spayed/neutered, even full breed or pedigreed animals. This is not an optional procedure, and it is mandated by state ordinances.
The full adoption process is required for each applicant.
Adopters are expected to keep their new pet current on all vaccinations, heartworm prevention, & other vet care as needed.
Each pet should be fed a high-quality dog food. Foods that list cornmeal as a primary ingredient are not typically what we would consider high quality. Some good brands include Eukanuba, Nutro, and Pro Plan.
Meeting our Furry Friends
We do not have a shelter facility, each of us foster animals in our homes. We hold weekend adoptions at the local Petco, alternating between the one on Cooper Street and I-20 in South Arlington on Saturdays and the Mansfield store on South Cooper at Hwy 287 on Sunday. Feel free to call for more information, and come and visit our wonderful animals!
