Upcoming events
We are very pleased that our Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinics for Cats have been so successful. The response from the community has been outstanding and we plan to continue this monthly program until it's no longer needed! We've sterilized over 300 cats so far - that sure is a lot of kittens we won't be seeing in our Shelter this summer! Please give us a call if you'd like more details about the program.
Who We Are
We are a non-profit humane shelter dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals and the promotion of humane treatment for all animals through education and enforcement of Pennsylvania's anti-cruelty laws.
Adopting a friend
When adopting from the Shelter you agree to keep this animal inside as a pet and companion, making it a part of your family. You further agree to provide proper food, shelter, water, veterinary care and loving humane treatment at all times. Our adoption fee includes vaccinations (no rabies), deworming, flea/tick control, ear mite treatment if necessary, AVID microchip, collar & leash or cat carrier. In addition, all animals are spayed or neutered before adoption.

Route 16 (Main Street Waynesboro) turn South on Clayton Avenue. Turn left on Fifth Street (Route 997). At bottom of hill, turn right on Lyons Road. Shelter approximately 1/2 mile on right. Hours: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Closed Wednesdays and Sundays.
