"A No Kill Shelter"

Adopt from Animal Rescue League- And Find a Friend For Life

Our mission is to serve stray, abandoned, orphaned, abused and injured companion animals by providing medical care and shelter in times of need, locating lifelong homes, and promoting responsible pet guardianship through education, legislation and sterilization.

As a No-Kill Shelter, every animal that comes to us stays with us until we find it a loving adoptive home. Animal Rescue League of El Paso is proud to be the oldest and largest No Kill shelter in our area providing a second chance to over 14,000 companion animals since 1995. Over 1600 animals were placed into loving homes in 2007

Animal Rescue League of El Paso is a private, volunteer-based, non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status. We receive no government funding and are not a United Way agency. Our life-saving work is supported solely by the loving contributions of individual donors and small foundation grants.

We have many other animals available for adoption that are not listed on our site. As soon as a rescued animal finds a loving home, another animal comes in to take it's place. So if you don't see the pet you're looking for, please call or visit our adoption shelter. We have new animals arriving almost daily as space becomes available.

Our Featured Pet

Ariel is looking for love.....

Ariel

I'm a beautiful snow white girl about 31/2 years old. I was rescued from death row at Animal Control and am so happy to have a second chance to find the love I've never had. I get along with other cats and would make a great addition to just about any household. I've been waiting for over a year to find someone to love me. Could it be you?

My adoption fee is $125, which includes my spay/neuter, my feline leukemia testing, age appropriate vaccinations, and microchip/registration fee. I must be an indoor cat only. Adopt me today and find a friend for life! And remember that adopting a pet is a life long commitment.

Donate a BedWe have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our shelter because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here.

If you ever move all you need to do is contact the 800 number listed on your pets tag and update your information. We ask that you also leave the ARL tag on your pet at all times along with a tag with the pets name and address.
