Who We Are

animal F.A.I.R. (Foundation for Animals In Risk) is committed to finding loving homes for cats and dogs that are at risk of being put down. animal FAIR is a non-profit, no kill animal rescue based in Sedalia, Missouri. We rescue cats and dogs from local shelters before they are euthanized, place them in foster homes, spay/neuter and vaccinate them, insure physical and emotional health and good socialization, and then adopt them into carefully screened homes. animal FAIR also educates the community on responsible pet ownership, and encourages spay/neuter to prevent pet overpopulation.

Hours

We are a foster-based rescue and do not have scheduled hours. If you would like to meet one of our dogs or cats, please call (660) 827-4064 or email us at petslive@iland.net to set up an appointment.

In order to be considered for adoption you will need to fill out an application.

Petco, on Chipman Road, in Lee's Summit, MO -Sundays from 11:00-4:00 p.m.

Pet Lover's Lane, on Gay Street, in Warrensburg, MO-every other Saturday from 11:00-3:30 p.m.

Volunteer or Donate!

Please help animal F.A.I.R. by contributing your time, talents, or money. We need foster homes for cats or dogs, and volunteers to help with data entry, website updates, equipment tracking, and driving animals to vet appointments. Volunteers who can help at our adoption events are also welcome. We are always in need of cash for food, supplies, and veterinary expenses. That includes spay/neuter surgery, all vaccinations, heartworm tests for dogs, and feline leukemia and FIV tests for cats.
