August 23rd for the 5th Annual mini-Cooper Rally – for wine-lovers and mini-lovers alike: drive your mini if you have one. Fee includes souvenir mini-glasses, food, mini goodie bag and live music. Richmond Crown Mini will be on-site with 2008 vehicles for viewing and for sale. Sat 11-5, $10 advance, $15 day of event.

We can help find a dog that will fit in with you and your home.
We can help with the necessities; a crate, a leash and collar, even a bowl and food to fill it with!

You can watch an animal transform from a lonely, unwanted stray to a loving, happy and grateful pet in a wonderful permanent home- be it your home or some other special home. Flirt


Flirt is a beautiful, brindle, Great Dane. She appears to be about 4 years old. She's very friendly, good with other dogs. She was given up by an owner who didn't have a fence and couldn't keep her at home. You can contact Flirt's foster home at vadogrescue@aol.com if you have any questions. Flirt is spayed, current on shots, heartworm negative. Email us for an application.


Adoption fee is $150 which includes all vaccines, heartworm test and spay/neuter.

Who We Are

Animal Connections is an all-volunteer rescue group who matches homeless animals with people through our Foster-to-adoption program. Our foster families are located in Charlottesville and surroundings.
We are not formally affiliated with any animal shelter, although many of our rescued animals come from SW VA or local shelters. There are many wonderful dogs and cats waiting for good homes.
The dogs and puppies shown here are in foster care. They often can be seen on weekends in Charlottesville at PET SUPPLIES PLUS (on Rt. 29 S and Greenbrier Dr.) HARRIS TEETER (Barracks Rd. Shopping Ctr.) RIVANNA RIDGE SHOPPING CTR. (Abbey Rd. next to GIANT)
