We are planning our semi-annual Garage Sale for the weekend of Oct 11 & 12. It will be held at 19 Cook St in Clark, NJ. between the hours of 9 AM - 4 PM. We are now collecting items for our sale so if you have anything to donate to our very worthy cause please email us at AllStarPets@comcast.net to make arrangements. ALL the money collected will go to help us care for our homeless pups. Please come down on those days to support us. We have something for everyone - especially a BIG holiday collection this time.

EMILY'S story is one of severe neglect by a callous owner who tossed her out on the streets to fend for herself in this dire condition. We were so close to having her put down until we noticed her fighting spirit and realized she wasn't as old as we originally believed. We took her to the Vet and he agreed that she deserves a chance at spending how ever much time she has left in a comfortable and loving home so she learns that not all humans are as horrid as her former owner is. Come Visit Us
We will have some of our cuddly canines at Pet Valu in the Kings Shopping Center at 300 South Ave., Garwood, NJ. Come down and see our pups along with some doggie friends from Companion Critters of Clark for our adoption events. Please check back to see our next scheduled date (which will be sometime in Nov).
If you are interested in a particular animal, we recommend you send us an online application in advance as we do not release animals at our adoption events unless we have your approved application on file and such arrangements have been made.
PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE PET VALU STORE FOR MORE INFORMATION! Pet Valu graciously allows us to use their space to hold adoption events and we do not want to burden their staff with inquiries intended for us.. Who We Are
All Star Pet Rescue is an all volunteer organization formed in April, 2006. We do not have a facility and are comprised solely of foster homes for homeless pets. Our mission is to network with other shelters and rescue groups to take in animals needing a new start. We do not discriminate based on breed, age or health status and only place the animals in loving and responsible homes. We also work to educate the public about the benefit of spaying or neutering their animals and the usefulness of microchipping. We receive no public funding and count on animal lovers to help provide the medical care and supplies necessary for the health, safety and comfort of our rescues. We are a 501c3 organization so your donations are tax deductible.
Adopting A Friend
All our pets are fully vetted prior to adoption which includes: up to date vaccines, a spay/neuter (if age appropriate) and a microchip. All our animals will be current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative as well.
It is easy to apply for one of our homeless animals - just click on the link for an online application. If you are approved we will arrange a home visit if feasible, and bring the pet to you to see if it would be a good match for both the adoptive home as well as the animal. We want our adoptions to be a lifelong bond and the home visit helps us determine that. Contact us if you want to meet one of our "All Star Pets" available for adoption.
