NEXT ADOPTION EVENT
All Star Rescue is now on our winter hiatus. We will be back in action with our weekly adoption events once the weather breaks. But I want to thank all our adopters, supporters and most of all our volunteers for helping us in our mission to provide comfort, safety and hopefully a new home to the stray and abandoned animals that cross our paths. We've made a lot of new friends this year and it was fun getting to know each & everyone who took in or provided support for our homeless pups. In the meantime, check out our available pooches on pet finder - perhaps you will meet the dog of your dreams there!

We will have some of our cuddly canines at Pet Valu in the Kings Shopping Center at 300 South Ave., Garwood, NJ. Come down and meet our pups. The hours are from noon until 2:30 PM. Please check notice above for our next adoption event.
If you are interested in a particular animal, we recommend you send us an online application in advance as we do not release animals at our adoption events unless we have your approved application on file and such arrangements have been made.
PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE PET VALU STORE FOR MORE INFORMATION! Pet Valu graciously allows us to use their space to hold adoption events and we do not want to burden their staff with inquiries intended for us.. They have no information on any of the animals we have for adoption. Please email us with any questions you might have.
All Star Pet Rescue is an all volunteer organization formed in April, 2006. We do not have a facility and are comprised solely of foster homes for homeless pets. Our mission is to network with other shelters and rescue groups to take in animals needing a new start. We do not discriminate based on breed, age or health status and only place the animals in loving and responsible homes. We also work to educate the public about the benefit of spaying or neutering their animals and the usefulness of microchipping. We receive no public funding and count on animal lovers to help provide the medical care and supplies necessary for the health, safety and comfort of our rescues.
All our pets are fully vetted prior to adoption which includes: up to date vaccines, a spay/neuter (if age appropriate) and a microchip. All our animals will be current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative as well. It is easy to apply for one of our homeless animals - just click on the link for an online application. If you are approved we will arrange a home visit if feasible, and bring the pet to you to see if it would be a good match for both the adoptive home as well as the animal. We want our adoptions to be a lifelong bond and the home visit helps us determine that. Contact us if you want to meet one of our "All Star Pets" available for adoption.
