About Us
Alcovy Pet Rescue, Inc is licensed by the state of GA Department of Agriculture
as an animal rescue group. We have volunteers who serve as our loving foster homes, and a referral service
for people in search of a new companion for their family. Our featured pets have yet to find their forever
homes. We work closely with several rescue groups and visit local shelters weekly in order to help you find
a new companion for your family. As volunteers, we have been serving the needs of homeless pets across
Georgia for many years. Due to the overwhelming need for rescue help in the area we have decided to form Alcovy
Pet Rescue, Inc. We need your help and support to ensure the rescue and placement of needy pets in Georgia and
the surrounding area. We are a 501c3 non-profit rescue, which means any money you give is tax deductible and

Adopting A Friend
If you are interested in adopting or meeting one of the pets featured on our site
please submit an adoption application at our website. In addition to an application, a home check/visit is
required. You must have a verifiable vet reference or your application will not be considered. We contact your veterinarian
to inquire if your current pet or past pets where kept up to date on all vaccines, spayed/neutered and in the case of dogs,
up to date on heart worm preventative.
If you complete an application, please contact your vet's office to let them know we will be contacting them.
We want to ensure our dogs and cats go out to responsible pet owners. To adopt from Alcovy, you must agree to keep your pet
up to date on all vaccines, heartworm preventative and flea preventative and provide a loving home.

Donate
Many area rescues are desperate for volunteers and there are many different things You can
do to help! If you can volunteer just a few hours of your time each week, it will make a difference. If you do not have
free time you can always donate items such as: dog beds, water & food bowls, dog/cat food, crates, collars, leashes,
heartworm prevention, flee & tick control, grooming supplies, treats, toys and natural or rawhide bones. If you are not
sure what you wish to donate we always welcome your cash donations securely through PayPal. You can donate by clicking
