PET OF THE WEEK!! WILLOW!!!!

Hello, I am a very happy kitty!! Let me introduce myself. I am Willow, i was born around May 2011. dilute tortoiseshell . I am current on shots, spayed and negative for FIV and Leukemia.i would do best as a only cat or with 1 other submissive male cat. I was found in SW Phila eating from the trash. An AFF member saw me and thought I was a feral cat and stopped to give me some food. When she approched me I did not run and it looked like I had a tree branch stuck on my tail. When she got me in the car, it fell off in her hand and to her shock it was my tail. I ate a whole can of food and some dry food on the way to the vet. I was a little growly (from the obvious pain I was in), but now I am a happy, friendly girl!! I will headbutt you and love to be pet. When I am pet, I actually drool from happiness:) Now that my tail is gone, I am doing so well and am concentrating on eating and getting stronger. Now all I need is you!!! WHO WE ARE:
Animal Friends Furever,Inc. (AFF) is an all volunteer organization of animal lovers experienced in animal rescue established on June 6, 2007. AFF will help any animal in need if we can. PLEASE NOTE: AFF is based in Warminster Pa. We however DO NOT have a physical SHELTER! We do most of our events in Bucks County.

HOW AFF HELPS :
AFF'S goal is to help owners find new and loving homes for their pets when they can no longer keep them. We assist the owners by posting a story and a picture on petfinder. In all cases,our priority is to match furbabies with their special human companion. PLEASE NOTE AFF WILL NOT DO LONG DISTANCE ADOPTIONS!
FUR BABIES:
AFF'S animals are mostly owner surrenders. Generally, these animals are NOT evaluted by AFF. Information for them comes directly from the owner. AFF DOES NOT HAVE A SHELTER! We service Montgomery, Bucks and Philadelphia Counties. In most cases, our animals are still with their current owner(s) or in foster care. Some of our Furbabies are with other rescue groups or in shelters and posted on our site as a courtesy.
AFF'S MISSION :
To assist owners who can no longer care for their dogs by placing the animals in new homes and providing any needed medical treatment. To place abandoned,abused,and stray dogs in foster homes as quickly as possible,until a permanent home can be found.To Rehabilitate and re-home unwanted , stray and abandoned animals.. To educate the public about abuse and neglect of animals and the importance of spay/neutering their pets..
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
There are lots of ways to help. AFF is always looking for people who have a passion for animals to join our family. You can become an AFF volunteer,No experience required. Of course we need your monetary donations to help our Furbabies. AFF depends on your kind donations to help animals. AFF is a 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit,so all donations are tax deductible.
