Adopt-A-Buddy, Inc.'s mission is to help pugs and other small dogs (when we have enough foster homes) find new "forever" homes. Most of these dogs have been left at shelters or have been turned over by their owners for various reasons... illness, death, change in the family situation, a new baby, training issues, the list of reasons is endless. They all deserve a happy life and we want to help them get that life. We don't have a shelter, we foster the dogs in our own homes.
If you would like an application to adopt one of our dogs please contact us by email at KLKL@ix.netcom.com. You must live within a one hour drive of New York City and immediate suburbs in order to adopt from us. Pennsylvania residents are too far away. Sorry, but no exceptions unless noted in the description. We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 8 years.
Adopt-A-Buddy, Inc. can only continue to help these small dogs if there are people willing to help us foster the dogs until they find new homes. Please contact us if you would like to become a foster parent or family. We are in desperate need of foster homes. Medical care and food provided. Serious inquiries only please.
Adopt-A-Buddy, Inc. is run on our personal income and from donations and/or adoption fees. Donations of any kind are appreciated and welcome.
Our dogs can be seen and met through appointment only. All of our rescues are in foster homes...we do not have a shelter. We must have a complete and approved application from you before you can schedule an appointment. Directions will be given to you at the time that the appointment is made.
