Gypsy Mama is ready to drop Mama from her name and find a family of her own. Though she was a fiercely protective and dedicated mama, that stage of her life is over and she's ready to cuddle and soak up all the loving she can get. Check her out in our adoptable pets.

We would love to hear from you! We always have a great assortment of animals looking for homes. We may have other pups or cats that aren't pictured here because of medical issues to be cleared up. The pets that we feature have been in foster care so they are very familiar with living in a home. We also take animals from Augusta Animal Services out for adoption. You can see some of those animals at www.augustaga.gov and click on the Animal Services link.

We are currently doing adoptions at Superpetz on Bobby Jones Expressway (next to Lowe's) every Saturday from 12 to 4 pm and at varied locations on Sunday from 1 to 4 pm. Come pick out your new best friend!!
Who We Are
We are the Augusta Animal Rescue Friends, Inc. We are a 501c3 non-profit corporation. Our group was started in 2000 to help find homes for as many animals at the Augusta Animal Services Shelter as we possibly can. There is always a great selection of animals at the shelter.
Adopting a friend
The Augusta Animal Services Shelter is open from 1pm to 5pm Tuesday though Saturday. We do screen applicants to be sure that the animal is a good match and that the applicant can provide a stable, loving home.
