City of Powell/Moyer Animal Shelter
Pet of the Month
Dougie is a neutered male black and white Border Collie cross. He would be best suited in a family with older children and adults. He also would be excellent as your camp watch dog or just a hiking partner.
News
Animal control for the City of Powell is just one of the many responsibilities of the Powell Police Department and is a priority for the Community Service Officer. Animal control isn't limited to dogs running at large but we also are concerned for the safety, welfare and education of both citizens and animals which may be sick, injured, dangerous, creating a nuisance, abandoned, found or lost. The City of Powell/Moyer Animal Shelter's daily operation is assisted by the organization "Caring for Powell Animals" and many volunteers.
