PIGS A Sanctuary
PIGS Animal Sanctuary will be hosting our annual Harvest Fest on Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 1 pm until 4 pm. Enjoy activities to include Make Your Own Scarecrow, face painting, moon bounce and crafts. Listen to the live DJ while eating lunch surrounded by the animal residents! There will be raffle items, tag sale, bake sale and PIGS merchandise for sale. Come out for a day of family fun! Admission is $5.00 per family; some activities require a small donation. Help STUFF THE TRUCK by bringing donated items such as cleaning supplies, bleach, dog and cat food, cat litter and fresh fruits and veggies for the animals. Groups are welcomed. Who We Are
FOUNDED IN 1992, PIGS, A SANCTUARY is a place of refuge for abused, abandoned, neglected and unwanted animals. We specialize in the care of potbellied pigs and farm pigs, but shelter other farm and domestic animals as well. The Sanctuary currently provides a safe haven for approximately 450 animals, including potbellied pigs, farm pigs, horses, cows, cats, dogs, sheep, goats and many other species.
PIGS, INC., a Sanctuary is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, donations to the Sanctuary are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law. Please visit our website www.pigs.org.
Adopting a friend
PIGS, INC., a Sanctuary has a written adoption application (available on our website) and will require vet references. A home visit may be required depending on the type of animal to be adopted. An adoption fee is required and the amount varies depending on the species being placed. A contract will be signed by both parties.
Come Visit Us!
PIGS, a Sanctuary offers educational tours to the general public year-round by appointment. Tours can often be scheduled at short notice, so please don't hesitate to contact us.
