We are always in need of volunteers to help feed, clean and water or just take a dog for a walk. (we have just one volunteer at the dog shelter at this time)

We are always in great need of donations for medicines like parvo/distemper shots or wormers. We also except bleach, old towles, rags, trash bags, used dog houses or anything you are willing to donate.

We have one Full time paid employee, our Animal Control Officer/Dog Shelter Manager, Jamie. One part time helper Darlyn, and our wonderful volunteer Andy.

Jamie is usually at the shelter Mon- Fri 10 am - 4 pm, will make appt. M - F for later times. Weekends by Appointments only (anytime). She is sometimes away on calls, strays, etc. If you want to visit the shelter between 10 and 4 and are not located near St. Marys, WV please call ahead so Jamie can meet you at the shelter.
