About Us
Webark Estates is a 501 C-3 "no-kill" animal shelter, dedicated to rescuing and placing homeless pets and reducing pet overpopulation.

Webark Estates Animal Shelter offers many services to assist animals and people alike, such as returning lost pets to their owners, offering a “matchmaker” service to pet owners looking to find a new home for their pet, providing a safe, secure haven for animals in their care, and adopting animals into new homes.
Want to help Webark? Here are some ideas:

Do you save pennies and spare change? Donate your jar of coins to us and we will arrange pickup if needed.
Offer a donation of needed supplies, such as canned cat food, dog chews, treats, cat litter, blankets, throw rugs, or toys. (We like to use 9 Lives canned cat food.) We can always use gift certificates for pet supplies, grocery stores, building supplies, hardware, or office supplies. Our shipping address is Rt 1 Box 431-A, Moundsville WV 26041. Call us to have a donation picked up.
Choose your next pet from among the many animals being cared for at Webark. We have plenty of loving animals just waiting for a home like yours.
Spread the word about the importance of responsible pet ownership, including spaying and neutering.
Report animal cruelty or neglect.
Volunteer your time at one of the shelter’s special events. Call (304)845-0855.
Can't adopt an animal right now, but want to help? Send a donation of $70.00, designated for the Shelter’s “Spay a Stray” program. Specify if you want to help a cat or a dog. Our Accomplishments
Webark finds homes for dogs, cats, rabbits, and fancy rats in their care, and also has a "matchmaker" service that helps owners find homes for pets they are unable to keep. Webark's feral cat program has prevented thousands of litters of unwanted kittens from being born, and hundreds of cats have been spayed or neutered, and vaccinated, thru the program.
Some Webark fundraisers include the Spaghetti Dinner/Auction the 2nd Friday of October at the Elm Grove Civics, the "Beast of a Sale" Yard Sale in the Spring, Christmas Pet Pictures at Prestige Photography in Wheeling, WV, in November, & the Webark 5K Run & Walk, organized by the Ohio Valley Runners & Walkers Club. We have an additional yard sale in late summer or fall. We collect items year-round for the Auction and yard sales; please call if you are "spring cleaning" and pickup can be arranged.
We use Patented Kuranda Dog Beds because they are durable, chew proof and easy to clean. We can always use more beds, because the cats like them too!
The I.R.S. has determined that Webark Estates, Inc. is a 501c3 Organization, and donations are deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Adopting a friend
Our fees are as follows: $50.00.
Adoption fees may be waived to a good home willing to adopt a "special needs" animal. Before entering our facility, every animal is vet checked, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, & treated, as needed. Cats are feline leukemia tested, and dogs are tested for heartworm.

Please e-mail us at Dominotiger@AOL.com or call (304)845-0855 to apply for one of our animals. After your application is approved, we can make arrangements to have your new dog or cat visit you. We do offer a trial period-try a pet for a few days & see how the family or other pets adjust!
