Our Mission

Our primary purpose is to find loving, forever homes through direct adoptions and/or partnered rescues for the unclaimed and unwanted dogs of Taylor County, WV. We also work closely with Taylor County Animal Control/Dog Wardens to help achieve our goal. Taylor County Humane Society (TCHS) cares for dogs in a small, rural shelter in Grafton, WV. We welcome out-of-state adopters and rescues. TCHS also promotes overall animal well-being and welfare. We offer reduced cost spay/neuter vouchers (redeemable at partnered vet clinics) to assist in reducing dog and cat overpopulation within our county.

We are open to the public Mon-Sat 9am-noon; Sun 9:30am-12:30pm and always need volunteers to help with the daily care of our animals. Please visit our website for more info about us: www.tchswv.com
