Lewis-Upshur County Animal Control Facility is a small shelter with only 16 dog kennels. That doesn't limit the amount of dogs, though! Check us out and save a life! Dogs surrendered to the pound are given a 5 day grace period. If not adopted within those 5 days, the dog will have to be euthanized. Please save a life, adopt!
If you are interested in adopting a dog, please get in touch with us. Don't forget to refer to the dog's number and breed. ATTN: Rescues -- We will work with you, but our resources are quite limited. Rescues in the MD/VA/DC we do have transport available. We are currently looking for volunteers to transport from the WV/MD line to Hagerstown. If interested please call the shelter at 304-472-3865
