Chance is an American Bull Terrier mix that was used as a bait dog. Chance has now had his surgery and after a rough first few days, he is doing well. There are some updated pictures on the Pet list if you would like to monitor his progress. THANK YOU to everyone-- from a five year old little boy, to fellow animal lovers, to hundreds of school children, and an extremely gracious family that "adopted" him as a Secret Santa -- who helped make this difficult surgery possible. It is wonderful seeing him able to stand upright, even for short periods of time until his strength returns. He can now climb the three steps to the porch and get himself up on the couch.
