Mya NEEDS a FOSTER home to have her pups !!!!!

Mya is such a sweet girl. She is great with people and gets along with most dogs. We are faced with a horrible situation here as Mya is VERY PREGNANT and has no foster home . Our options are all sad. ...we DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO RESORT to any of those options. PLEASE open your home to Mya and give her and her pups a chance!!! for more details 304.527.3987

INK CARTRIDGE/OLD CELL PHONE RECYCLING PROGRAM Not only can you keep them out of the landfills. By donating them to the Animal Shelter you will be helping us to raise money. Just drop them off at the Shelter and we will do the rest.

PURINA REBATE PROGRAM
The animal shelter is also participating in the Purina Rebate Program. By redeeming the weight circles/proofs of purchase from Purina cat and dog food, we receive much appreciated rebates. The weight circle can be found on the side of the bag towards the top. If you feed your cats or dogs ANY brand of Purina food, please cut out these circles and either mail them or bring them to the shelter.






WISH LIST
We always accept donations of food, leashes or collars,litter, treats, toys,newspaper, laundry soap, Clorox, dish soap, blankets,towels,air fresheners ,office supplies and anything else we can use for the care of our pets.


Donate a Bed Our dogs love to sleep on Kuranda beds, but we do not have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed for another one of our shelter dogs at discounted price, please click here.





WHO WE ARE

The shelter is a county facility and we are NOT a no-kill shelter. Our shelter is always at capacity and we need help getting our furry friends homes FAST. Our conscientious and knowledgable staff is very helpful and strives to adopt as many animals as possible. The shelter is rescue friendly and will adopt to out of state residents, but Brooke County residents have preference.

ADOPTING A FRIEND

All potential adopters are required to fill out a pre-adoption form for any cat or dog they are interested in adopting.



DOGS

Dogs are $100.00.
This fee includes the cost of the spay or neuter surgery, shots, deworming, and a heartworm test.
There is an additional $3.00 fee for a county dog license if you are a Brooke County resident.



CATS

Cats are $85.00.
This fee includes the cost of the spay or neuter surgery, shots, deworming, and a FeLV/FIV test.








COME VISIT US!!







The shelter is located just off Allegheny Street in Follansbee, West Virginia. Allegheny Street intersects WV State Route 2 almost directly across from the Follansbee Fire Dept. Coming south you will turn left at the light onto Allegheny Street; coming north you turn right. Follow Allegheny street approximately 1 mile and watch for shelter sign on the left. Turn there.
