All of our pups & dogs are neutered or spayed, have current shots, including rabies, are wormed, and assessed for child, cat, other dog compatibility. They are also eligible for one (1) month Pet Insurance (sheltercare.com) for $1.

Donations

We can always use rawhides, chewies, toys and balls, soft toys for the pups, paper towels, used soft blankets or used soft comforters, sweaters & coats (all sizes),collars & leashes (all sizes), doggie beds (all sizes), crates (new or used),and dog houses (new or used). Any items donated will receive a receipt for tax purposes.

Foster Care

Foster Care is needed! We have a few pups & dogs who need to learn people are kind & gentle. They need one-on-one attention, to learn basic commands, learn to play and receive love & attention. We provide the pup or dog, food & treats, and any medical care needed. We ask that you work with him or her until they are trusting and outgoing. It is not possible for us to work one-on-one with each rescued dog, and therefor these pups & dogs need socialization. We supply food and take care of any medical needs. Pay: Lots of doggie kisses and the satisfaction that you helped a frightend pup or dog become confident and secure, which enables them to be adopted into a loving home. Usually a 4-6 week commitment. If interested, please call Mara at 540-250-6166 for more info.
