Welcome to the Forest County Humane Society.
We are open on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. You can visit our pets by appointment Monday~Friday.
We have a wonderful Resale Shop located in Crandon, WI. Our volunteers who run this little shop do a fantastic job. It is always full of treasures! The hours of the shop are: Thurs.-Sat. from 10 am to 4 pm. All sales benefit the animals. If you have items to donate they can be droped off at the Resale Shop or the Humane Society.
We are featured every Friday Morning at 6:30 am on HomeWard Bound on WJFW NewsWatch 12! Tune in to see our pet of the week and hear about our latest events and fundraisers.
Who We Are
We are a non-profit organization in Forest County WI that cares for homeless animals until we can place them in their new "Forever Homes. " We are not funded by the county, state or federal governments.
Could you please give the gift of comfort to one of our dogs?!! Kuranda Dog Beds will let you purchase one of their beds and they will send it to us. Right now we are using blankets for beds. This is not as comfortable and economical as a Kuranda Dog Bed. Our dogs have all been on a long journey to get to us, please find it in your heart to give them a comfortable bed to lay on as they wait for their new homes. The cost of adopting a wonderful kitten/cat is $55.00 and for a sensational puppy/dog the cost is $90.00. This includes a $30.00 refundable spay/neuter deposit for dogs and a $20.00 refundable spay/neuter deposit for cats. Deposits will be refunded when we recieve proof that this procedure has been done.
