We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of
animals. Our mission is the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of
suffering among animals and the extension of humane education.

The SCHS is looking for foster homes! Make a difference in a homeless
animal's life. Give a homeless animal a "second chance".
Become a foster parent and open your home and heart to an animal in need.
This shelter supports a foster to adopt program.
Foster care in your own home benefits:
Ill animals needing recuperation (at times including medication)
Young animals needing socialization
Mother animals and their young
Orphaned animals
Stressed/frightened animals intolerant of a shelter environment
Fostering is a heartwarming, rewarding experience. Learn about respect, consideration,
and responsibility for another life. Help your community by caring for some
of its homeless animals. A foster home is a vital step for a homeless animal
on its way to a permanent, loving home. You can provide that important link.

From Green Bay: Interstate 43 south to Highway 42. East on Highway
42 to stoplights (approx. 1.5 miles). Left at the stoplights onto North
Avenue. 1st left off North Avenue onto N. 21st St. to Mayflower Avenue (1st
right) then left onto N. 20th St. to shelter.
From Milwaukee: Interstate 43 north to Highway 42. East on Highway
42 to stoplights (approx. 1.5 miles). Left at the stoplights onto North
Avenue. 1st left off North Avenue onto N. 21st St. to Mayflower Avenue (1st
right) then left onto N. 20th St. to shelter.
From Fond du Lac/Plymouth: Highway 23 east to Taylor Drive exit.
Left at end of off ramp. North on Taylor Drive to North Avenue, right on
North Avenue to N. 21st Street (at Kentucky Fried Chicken). Left on N. 21st
Street to Mayflower Avenue, right on Mayflower to N. 20th Street. Left on N.
20th to shelter.
