Who We Are
We were established in 1988. We find homes for approximately 700 dogs and cats per year that come to us from rural Adams County, Wisconsin. We are open from 12:00 to 5:00 P.M. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Sunday 12-4pm. Closed on Tuesdays and holidays. Visit our web page at www.adamscountyhumanesociety.org

Adopting a friend
All potential adopters are required to fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire. ACHS has the right to reject any application. The cost to adopt a dog is $100.00. The cost of a cat is $45.00 if altered or $25.00 if still intact. If the cat or dog are still intact, the adoptor agrees to have the animal spayed/neutered within 30 days or if to young within 90 days.
