Interested in fostering?
All our pets are kept in foster homes and we are looking for people that are willing to foster a dog or cat. Fostering isn't for everyone, but if you don't "sweat the small stuff" and can make room in your home for a pet in need, please submit a fostering application. Patches cover all medical expenses; foster homes provide food, basic training, socialization and above all, love.
You will be guided through the fostering process and placement process by one of our current foster homes. Don't worry about becoming attached to the pet, because you WILL. However, the feelings that come when finding a homeless pet a forever home and seeing how happy the family is to have the pet, makes the sad tears turn into tears of joy. If you have any questions about fostering, email email@example.com.
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application . Once you have an approved application on file, you can inquire and set up a visit with the pet you are interested in. Our adoption process goes fairly quickly.
Adoption Fees (Fees include applicable sales tax)
Prior to placement, all our animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, checked for parasites, tested for heartworm (dogs only), tested for FeLV/FIV (cats only), and microchipped.
Adoption fees are non-refundable.
Patches Animal Rescue, Inc. is a small, all-breed rescue based in Southern Wisconsin. We take in animals directly from owners and from shelters. All our pets are kept in foster homes. Upon arrival, pets are spayed/neutered, brought up to date on vaccinations and heartworm testing, and given a thorough exam. Any medical issues are addressed. Before pets are placed up for adoption, they are behaviorally assessed in their foster home.
Since Patches was formed in 2008, we have placed over 100 pets into loving homes.
Patches Animal Rescue, Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible.
Patches Animal Rescue does not have a central facility; all our pets are in foster homes. In order to meet a pet, applicants must have an approved adoption application on file.
