Paws-itively in Love with Health Hearts Fundraiser.  Patches Animal Rescue is raising funds to purchase a heart holter monitor/recorder.  We recently had a dog that needed one and it was virtually impossible to find one to rent.  An estimated $1,400 is needed.   Holter monitors are used when a dog is having episodes of fainting, has a heart murmur or an irregular heart beat.   We are purchasing a DR200 from Alba Medical, a leader in the industry.  We thank them for giving us a rescue discount.   The monitor will be kept at Wyllow Pet Hospital and available for use at a nominal charge.    If you'd like to make a donation toward this purchase, please read below.

Monetary donations can be mailed to Patches Animal Rescue, PO Box 103, Beaver Dam, WI  53916 and are also accepted via PayPal, email address patchesanimalrescue@yahoo.com.   Thank you in advance for your support!

ITEMS NEEDED: Patches Animal Rescue is always in need of:

  • fleece blankets
  • new or clean, used crates of any size
  • peanut butter

Interested in fostering?

All our pets are kept in foster homes and we are looking for people that are willing to foster a dog or cat.   Fostering isn't for everyone, but if you don't "sweat the small stuff" and can make room in your home for a pet in need, please submit a fostering application.   Patches cover all medical expenses; foster homes provide food, basic training, socialization and above all, love.

You will be guided through the fostering process and placement process by one of our current foster homes.  Don't worry about becoming attached to the pet, because you WILL.   However, the feelings that come when finding a homeless pet a forever home and seeing how happy the family is to have the pet, makes the sad tears turn into tears of joy.   If you have any questions about fostering, email patchesanimalrescue@yahoo.com.
