Right now we have a lot of males available. It seems that females are more sought after than males. The reading that we have done seems to dispute this belief. According to some animal behaviorists, a neutered male is the calmest, best behaved dog. Hope fully people will consider males instead of just females and give some of our guys a good home.
Hunter is our diabetic Britt who is also losing his eyesight. He has had his cataract surgery, however it didn't go as well as we had hoped. The doctor was not able to insert a lens in his eye due to deterioration of the structure of the eye. So he will never have perfect vision in that eye, but he will have good vision, it just won't be very well focussed. We are very disapointed as we had hoped to improve his life a great measure. He has had such a hard life so far, we were hoping to help him out.
Thanks to all the people who adopted one of our dogs, helped with fostering or donated money. We really appreciate your help and everything you have done!

We have lots of new dogs coming in to our care so please check back often to see the new arrivals.
We have found homes for a few Brittanies this year but we still have several that need homes around the midwest. It seems that as soon as one dog gets adopted, another appears at our doorstep. If you are at all interested in fostering a Brittany, please give us a call or fill out an application link lower on this page; as we are once again almost at the limit of what we can handle.
Who We Are
Hi. We are members of the National Brittany Rescue and Adoption Network (NBRAN) here in Wisconsin. We are a private, non-government group that rescues Brittanies here in Wisconsin or anywhere necessary . We pull dogs from shelters and help with owner placements. We foster them in our home till a forever home is found for them. Here is a link to our parent organization. WWW.NBRAN.ORG There is a lot of good information there , especially about the breed characteristics, for people unfarmiliar with Brittanies. Here is a nice introduction to Brittanies for people unfarmiliar with the breed.SO YOU WANT A BRITTANY
We also are in need of volunteers for temporary foster care, transport runs, shelter contacts , fund raising and helping with outreach events. There is a Brittany Canine Railroad that transports dogs around the country to they're forever homes. We desperately need help as were are getting overwhelmed with homeless Brittanies. We are about at the limit as far as the number of dogs we can care for. Without more volunteers, we may not be able to save all the Brittanies that need our help. If you are interested in volunteering, please click here.ONLINE VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONIf you would like to donate money for the care of some of our sick dogs, please click here.DONATE HERE
Also, there is an online store where you can purchase Brittany items..ONLINE STORE
