Our Featured Pet...
This weeks featured pet is Powder. She is a 1 year old female, Husky/Blue Heeler mix. She is a wonderful dog, but is deaf. She needs a home where she can get lots of love & attention to try to compensate for her lack of stimulation from speech."Good Girl!" needs to come from a big hug because of her lack of hearing. She would be perfect for a retired person who just wants the companionship of a wonderful pet.

Langlade County Humane Society is a non-profit organization run by a board of directors & the help of many, generous volunteers.Our main goal is to find safe, appropriate homes for stray and unwanted animals.

Adopting a friend
Dogs: All dogs will be spayed or neutered before adoption,thus saving you the time & and paperwork. They will have had all starting shots & rabies vaccination, too. A license is required by county ordinance & is $3.00. Dog adoption fee is a flat rate of $100.00
Cats: All cats will be spayed or neutered before adoption, thus saving you time & paperwork. They will have had all starting shots & rabies vaccination,too. Cats are not required to be licensed in the city of Antigo . Cat adoption fee is a flat rate of $85.00
Hwy 64 is 5th Avenue, Antigo's downtown area. Turn North onto Clermont St. Follow it all the way down a mile or more. Our shelter in on the left side of Clermont St ( 2204 Clermont St..) You can't miss our new sign. Hope to see YOU soon!
