Who We Are

The Wisconsin Chinchilla Rescue acts under the guidelines of a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization. We are located in Pewaukee Wisconsin and work out of private homes. We have been helping to rehome fuzzy critters since February 2004. We provide shelter, promote proper care for companion chinchillas and provide education and information to chinchilla owners, veterinarians, and the general public on these adorable fuzzy critters. To date we have helped 286 animals find permanant, loving homes.

Adopting a friend

Our adoption procedure starts with an adoption application that can be found on our website above, or can be emailed to you as well. After the application has been processed, which is generally no longer then 48 hours, we will set up a time for you to come and visit with our furry friends. If at that time we have someone that would be a fit for you and your family you may be able to leave with your chin at that time. I would also like to state that the chin you pick from our listing may not always be the right chin for your situation so please keep an open mind before the visit. The right chin will pick you once you're here!
