Our Adoptable Pet List

Donate Now on Our Web Site!

Every donation, no matter how small, helps us save lives.
We have a waiting list of homeless, abandoned and special needs pets who need our help.

Our Pets...

We primarily help homeless cats, kittens, dogs and puppies, and occasionally rabbits, birds and small animals. Please contact us at 920-830-2392 or info@savingpaws.com for further information on our adoptable pets!

Who We Are

Saving Paws Animal Rescue Inc. is a newly formed nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless, abandoned and special needs animals in Northeast Wisconsin and finding new adoptive homes or providing lifelong sanctuary for them; we also seek to decrease the number of unwanted animals and the amount of animal cruelty in our community through outreach and education. We are completely volunteer-run and 100% of donations go directly to the care of the animals.

Adoptions

For Cats: standard treatments include deworming, a feline leukemia test, a distemper shot, seasonal topical treatments for fleas, ticks, and mites, and additional treatments as needed. We also may do FIV tests and rabies shots as we can afford it.

Adopters may not four-paw declaw cats and kittens adopted from Saving Paws.

For Dogs: standard treatments include deworming if necessary, distemper, bordatella and rabies.

All pets adopted must be spayed/neutered if not already. If you adopt a pet too young to be neutered or spayed, you may be required to pay a $50 deposit that will be returned to you upon receipt of a signed letter from your veterinarian indicating the date your pet was spayed or neutered.

Adoption Fees

Kittens/Cats under 2 years old: $100 for an unsterilized kitten/cat or a spayed/neutered kitten/cat.

Adopt 2 and get a cost break: only $150 for two wonderful kittens/cats.

Cats over 2 years old: $50 for a spayed/neutered cat (all cats adopted from Saving Paws over 2 years old will already be spayed or neutered prior to going home). Adopt 2 and get a cost break: only $75 for two wonderful spayed/neutered kitties.

*Please note: special needs kitties' adoption fees will be assessed individually. We may reduce our fees based on additional care they might need.

Dogs: $200 for male dogs; $250 for female dogs.

*Please note: special needs dogs' adoption fees will be assessed individually. We may reduce our fees based on additional care they might need.

Other Animals: Rabbits: $25; Birds: $25; Guinea Pigs: $10; Hamsters/Gerbils/Rats: $10; Others: Please call for prices.

These costs do not come close to covering our expenses. The cost of the deworming medication, feline leukemia test, distempter shot, spay or neuter surgery, office exam(s), topical ointments, and other medical treatments can often be three to four times the adoption fee.

Volunteers

We are in need of volunteers to help in a variety of areas. Please go to our Web site, www.savingpaws.com, to check out our volunteer opportunities. We could not do it without our volunteers (we are completely volunteer run!), thank you for helping us!

Hours

Since we are an all-volunteer organization, we are currently by appointment only.
