News

A rabbit (at high-risk for euthanization, or needing a safe forever-home) is grateful you reached out.
The Rescued Buns thank you. The affection you provide has changed their world in a million ways.

All our rescues get well-bunny exams and are spayed or neutered.

Soulmate Rabbit Rescue is continually asked to help rabbits needing forever homes. Many on death row.

Rescues ask for devoted homes and affection.

Photos. SRR has foster network homes in WI and IL. Foster buns in IL (and WI) will come to your home for a meet 'n' greet and interview.

Rabbits become seniors at ages 6 to 8. Many house rabbits live 10 to 12 years, or more.  They are a joy to have as a house companion.

Our main focus is the care of the rescued rabbits. Website revisions together with Photos will occur as time allows.

Who We Are

Soulmate Rabbit Rescue is a small organization of Volunteers helping unwanted, abandoned or jeopardized rabbits find forever homes.

We educate prospective owners about proper care, offer advice, and promote lifelong relationships with the quiet and sensitive soulmates rabbits can become. Our rescues are lovingly cared for and cuddled in appropriate home environments. Knowing as much as you can about your new family member is important. We'll share information on their background or how they came to us as a rescue.

- We are easy to reach should you have a question or concern, or your bunn ever need a pedicure / manicure.
- We chaperone dates - and evaluate each bun's bonding chemistry.
- Extended family to all who come in as rescues, then find their forever parents.

Adopting a friend

Details on adopting.

Adoptions can occur within a two-week timeframe. Emails, phone interview, house visit, and a get-together. We are grateful you are patient and do not rush into a 10 to 12 year commitment.
