Lucky Canine Adoptions is a rescue with dedicated volunteers devoted to re-homing dogs (purebreds and mix breeds) in need in the state of Wisconsin and surrounding states. Whether they are abandoned, picked up as strays or surrendered by their owners, we are here to assist. We are not a shelter. All dogs are fostered in a private home and receive love, attention, basic obedience & training, and any needed veterinary care prior to placement, including but not limited to spay/neuter, vaccinations, HW testing and preventative.
We have all potential adopters complete an application, go through veterinary reference checks, personal reference checks, background checks and if possible, home checks. We only place dogs into a home if we feel comfortable knowing that this is the best home and the right fit for them. All adopters must sign and agree to an adoption contract and the dogs must be returned to us if they can no longer care for them.
