It is the mission of Humane Milwaukee, Inc. to place homeless animals from the Greater Milwaukee Area into loving, permanent homes as well as to provide community outreach programs in order to secure a better future for all companion animals.

Upcoming Events: Humane Milwaukee has implemented a new program that is a fun and simple way for anyone to support animals and become an active part of Humane Milwaukee. Your one-year donation ($45/individual; $60 family) will pay for the basic medical care of one cat or dog in our program. Friends of Humane Milwaukee will receive an "I am a friend of Humane Milwaukee" t-shirt (2 t-shirts with family membership!), a window cling, 10% off adoption fees, discounts at participating businesses, your name on our donor wall in the adoption center and on the website, and the satisfaction of knowing you are supporting the care of homeless pets.

The Humane Milwaukee adoption center in Southridge Mall is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from noon-7, Saturdays from noon-4 and Sundays from noon-6 or by appointment.

We feature dogs for adoption every Saturday AND Sunday from noon-2 at the Greenfield PetSmart located at 74th & Edgerton.
