All animals are vaccinated for distemper and wormed before leaving our shelter. Dogs are also given bordetalla..

* Unaltered animals require the pre-payment of the spay/neuter at the veterinarian of your choice before they can leave the shelter
Come Visit Us!
The animal shelter is located in Barron's industrial park at 1571 Guy Avenue, Barron, WI. On Hwy 8 coming into Barron from the west, turn before the Ford dealership and take the first left.
No appointment is necessary to come and visit our animals. However, due to cleaning, veterinary appointments, vaccinations, medications, bathing, etc., we ask that you respect our shelter hours. Our regular hours are as follows...
- Monday: 12-6pm
- Tuesday: 12-6pm
- Wednesday: closed
- Thursday: 12-6 pm
- Friday: 12-6 pm
- Saturday: 12-4pm
- Sunday: closed
If you are unable to make it to the shelter during shelter hours to adopt or surrender an animal, please contact us and we will try our best to arrange a time to meet with you outside of shelter hours.
