Who We Are

Kindred Kitties is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding "forever" homes for displaced cats and kittens. We operate from a foster home environment. The number of cats we are able to help depends on the number of foster homes we have available. Please consider offering your home as a temporary refuge for cats and kittens awaiting adoption. If you are interested or would like more information on fostering cats and/or kittens, call 262/605-0533 or visit www.kindredkitties.org

Adopting a friend

Once you've made the decision to add a new member to your family, and have found the perfect kitty for you, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire. The questions asked are very important in the process. Once the questionnaire is reviewed, you will be required to complete an Adoption Agreement which is the binding contract between you and Kindred Kitties. Adoption fees are as follows: Spayed/Neutered Cats are $80 for one and $120 for two. If you adopt another spayed/neutered cat within six months of your first adoption, it will cost $50. For un-spayed or un-neutered kittens, the fee is $80 for one or $120 for two, plus a $40 spay/neuter prepay for each kitten. The $40 prepaid spay/neuter fee has been added to our adoption fee to support our primary mission of ensuring that all cats are spayed or neutered. There are three options for utilizing this prepaid fee: 1) Contact Kindred Kitties at 262/605-0533 to make an appointment to have your cat altered at one of our designated vets. The prepayment fee will cover this procedure. 2) To receive a discounted spay/neuter, make an appointment to have your cat altered by one of the vets listed on our Spay/Neuter Certificate. Upon completion of the procedure, mail the vet invoice to Kindred Kitties to receive a rebate of your $40 prepay. 3) Make an appointment with any vet not listed on our Spay/Neuter Certificate. Upon completion of the procedure, mail the vet invoice to Kindred Kitties to receive a rebate of your $40 prepay. Important Note! You will forfeit your $40 prepay fee if the cat is not altered within 30 days of the “Spay/Neuter By” date noted on your Adoption Agreement. Each kitten or cat is tested for Feline Leukemia and is current on distemper vaccinations. Some have a current Rabies vaccine, and all have been de-wormed and de-fleaed. Any cat or kitten old enough to be spayed or neutered undergoes the procedure before it is offered for adoption. With every adoption, we're there for you and your new friend, to make sure every phase of introducing your kitten or cat into your home is smooth and pleasant.
