All Creatures Veterinary Hospital
Our Featured Pet...
There are MANY featured pets here and they all weigh about 1 1/2 lbs and are warm and fuzzy! We do a lot of donating of time and effort to bring these kittens up. They're prospect would have been very bleak if we had left nature to take it's course. They deserve better, don't you agree! Well, that's what we're here for. Come take a look.
News
1/23/08 We still have a bunch of kittens needing homes. So many people have been coming in looking and they say "what happened to all the kittens?". I have to tell them "you're looking at them, they've grown up a bit". Our youngest ones now are almost 5 mo old. PLEASE give them the home they deserve!
Who We Are
We are a veterinary hospital for small animals. We are not a shelter in the common sense of the word, but we do a lot of shelter-type work. We don't usually take adult animals from clients but will assist them in finding someone to help them. We will, at ANY time, take back a cat that was adopted from us. That helps us be sure none of our kittens end up on the streets because of no other option. The thing that makes us most proud is the sheer number of feral cat and low income spays and neuters we do in a given year. We are very proud of that! (Unfortunatley that number has significantly decreased with the ending of the Maddies fund program : ( the end of 2004).
Adopting a friend
We check our potential adoptors out pretty well. We always call landlords if potential adoptors are renters. And we always call previous veterinarians. Fortunatley, we already know so many of you who are already clients of ours that we a lot of times know your history pretty well. But we do make certain our kittens go to GREAT (not just good!) homes. We also require 2 personal, non-related references.

Being a veterinary hospital, there are times when we have a lot of surgeries and veterinary appointments going on, making it harder for us to show the litters that are not yet ready for adoption thus not yet out in the lobby. Best times are M-F 10-3. Our clinic is actually open M-F 8-5 and Saturdays 9-12. We realize some people can only come on Saturdays, just be aware that our first priority at that time is caring for the pets here to see the doctor and until someone gets time, you may not be able to get back to see the other kittens (besides the ones in the lobby) as fast as we'd like.
