Come to our meet and greet on: May 18th, Sunday--We will be at Petco in Wausau, WI, from 11 AM til 2 PM (located in Rib Mountain) Bowser will be there for you to meet. May 24th, Saturday--We will be in Marshfield, WI at an event from 11 AM til 2 PM at the Central Wisconsin Fairgrounds in the Junior Expo building - 14th ST - East off Central Ave (Business 13). **************** We are now excepting your empty printer ink cartridges, and your old cell phones. We are able to recycle these and use the money toward our vet bills and other expenses for our rescue Shih Tzu. Please email me at: Lakwau@aol.com for an address to mail them to or drop them off at Petco in Wausau on the 18th of May or in Marshfield on May 24th. ****************** UPDATED: Shih Tzu Rescue has opened a store online, where you can buy several different gift items and add your own pet's picture to them or a friends pets picture to them and give it for a gift. Who We Are

Shih Tzu Rescue of Central Wisconsin is an all-volunteer organization, dedicated to saving the lives of abused, abandoned and unwanted Shih Tzu or Shih Tzu mixes. Our organization is based in Central Wisconsin. But we will adopt our rescue Shih Tzu out to homes in IL, MN, IA and MI also. Each and every dog accepted into the program undergoes a physical examination by a veterinarian, is spayed/neutered, brought up to date on shots, heart worm checked, started on monthly heart worm preventative medication, dewormed, and any other medical problems they may have will be treated prior to being adopted. We have no shelter - all of our dogs live in foster homes in the Central Wisconsin area until we find them a home. The adoption fees are based on the age of the Shih Tzu. These fees are used to offset our vet bills and range from $125.00 to $400.00 depending on the age of the Tzu. We do not adopt out to families with children under the age of 6 years old. Foster Homes

Shih Tzu Rescue of Central WI is in NEED of FOSTER HOMES and/or volunteers who have time and dedication to help fund raise, pick up the Shih Tzu from shelters, check references and do homevisits. You must live in the Central Wisconsin area to be a part of our organization. Serious and dedicated inquiries only and you must stay actively involved. An application, reference checks and a homevisit is required before being approved, you can find our FOSTER CARE APPLICATION on our web site. Donations

DONATIONS are always needed and appreciated to help us in our rescue efforts. Our wish list includes: Funding to help with vet bills (we do have a secure Paypal account) Gift cards from Petco or Petsmart (for dog food and dog treats, etc.) Gas Cards (to help us with fuel costs in picking up needy Shih Tzu from shelters in the state and doing home visits) Dog toys, harnesses, collars, leashes, etc. Shih Tzu Rescue of Central Wisconsin
