We are a county run shelter. We are dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted dogs in Monroe County.
Adopting a friend
All adoptions are $70.00 and prior approval through an adoption application. Please call (608) 372-4879 to have an application faxed to you.
Our dogs will be current on their rabies vaccination, or they will be offered to you at the $70.00 adoption rate with an additional $10.00 fee for an $8.00 credit voucher for a rabies vaccination good for 30 days. Residents of Monroe County are also required to purchase a dog license.
Puppy adoptions include puppy shots and worming of the puppy which is done at the time of impoundment and spay/neuter contract must be signed at the time of the adoption along with prior approval through an adoption application.
