Kittitas County Friends of Animals is a tax exempt 501(c)3 organization operating under the laws of the state of Washington. KCFOA provides safe and healthy foster homes for cats, dogs, and other pets, whether they are an abuse/neglect impound or a voluntary owner release. KCFOA is dedicated to giving animals the life they deserve.
KCFOA is a 100% volunteer organization and no member receives a salary, tip, or monetary compensation for their time, effort, or talent.
We DO NOT have a shelter facility and we rely on a FOSTER network of volunteers to temporarily house animals in their private homes until the adoption process has been completed.
Our organization is funded entirely through fundraising and community donations. If you would like to support KCFOA, please contact us. We would like to thank our supporters for their time and generosity.
We also raise funds for low-income spay/neuter programs and education programs for local classrooms. We also have a feral (wild) cat trap/neuter/return program. We will trap and neuter feral cats if the cats are allowed to return to their home and if they are being fed.
We are ALWAYS in need of GOOD barn/garage homes for our mousers (feral cats) that must be relocated. Please contact us if you can help!
We are ALWAYS in need of DEDICATED, loving homes for homeless pets to spend time as fosters. PLEASE contact us to HELP! You can make a difference!
If you would like information on any of our programs or animals, please email us at KCFOA@aol.com. We also invite you to join our group and/or foster network by joining our egroup at RescueNetWAfirstname.lastname@example.org.

We ask for the following donations:Dogs: $100
The donation helps to pay for the spay/neuter surgery, shots for the animal while in our care, and vet visits. The adoption fee does NOT include the raves vaccine. We are a self-supporting, non-profit group so the donations are really appreciated! Typically we spend more than $100 per animal while they are in our care, which does not include the cost of food.
All potential adopters must fill out an adoption form, be interviewed and have a home check prior to taking home a pet. This may seem extensive, but we are looking for people who are committed to making their new pet a life-long member of their family. Home checks may seem intrusive, however, they are not. We just need to verify that individuals are not dealers buying animals for use in medical clinics.Dog Application Form
We are a non-profit organization and work completely on donations. Here are just a couple of ways that you can aid us in our mission. Every little bit helps.
