Southern Heart Animal Rescue
Our Mission
Southern Heart Animal Rescue is dedicated to rescuing abandoned, lost, and abused animals. We have a strong focus on trap, neuter, return in our community and working with socializing feral cats and kittens. We are a no-kill rescue that takes on medical cases that most rescues would turn down. We are dedicated to our rescues for their lifetime and ensure that they always have a safe place either with their adopters or with us.
Adoption Policy
We require our potential adopters that have animals currently to have them spayed and neutered, up to date on vaccines, and in good standing with their current veterinarian. They must either own their home or have approval from the landlord that they may have a pet in home and have paid their pet deposit. Our adoption contract signed by both the adopters and a Southern Heart Animal Rescue founder specifies many other requirements. If at any point the adopter cannot keep the animal, all animals must be returned to Southern Heart Animal Rescue.
