Saving for a Storm
Our Mission
Saving for a Storm was founded to fund emergency, life-saving surgeries for pets. While that is still our primary mission, we also have a small animal rescue to help with the overwhelming amount of pets needing forever homes.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and 100% of our funding either goes towards emergency, life-saving surgeries for pets or to rescuing animals.
Adoption Policy
Our adoption process:
1. Make an appointment to meet them! Appointments for meet and greets can be made by emailing Savingforastorm@gmail.com. Meet and greets are a necessary step to ensure that it is a good match before applying.
2. Fill out an adoption application. These can be filled out at Zelda's Pet Grooming after your meet and greet.
3. Wait! We will be reviewing all applications and ensuring that we pick the best home possible! Please note that we reserve the right to deny an adoption if we feel the situation is not suitable.
4. If you have been approved for the adoption, we will contact you and let you know when you can take your pet home. They will come with a welcome packet including all medical records. You will need to provide a carrier, food, toys, and all other necessary supplies to care for your pet.
