We need FOSTERS:
Fostering is such a rewarding way to save dogs from high kill shelters and help them find a forever home. One of the benefits of fostering is, you can have a fun furry friend around for a while, then take a break or go on vacation without worry of paying for dog boarding. Maybe you have a little dog who loves to play with other dogs? Consider this a long sleep over for your pup to keep them active and exercised for you! Don't want to pay for vet bills but would love to have an occasional companion? All vaccinations and medical care needed by your foster pup to make them adoption ready are paid for by UP2U usually before you even receive them. You provide the love and safe environment. Contact us with questions, or come visit us at one of our adoption events. More and more dog shelters are becoming No Kill shelters and it is thanks to foster volunteers opening their homes and hearts to them. We are always looking for those who just want to volunteer at events and with other needs for our rescue group as well!
We are a 501(c) (3), non-profit organization and are run by volunteers. As the founder, I have a true passion for giving dogs a second chance. I have worked with rescue groups for over two years as a foster, and coordinated all aspects of running a dog rescue. I saw a real need for more help for small breed dogs that need a second chance. Our rescue will specialize in small dogs. We will not buy any dogs from puppy mills or breeders. Our dogs will be spayed/neutered, Microchipped and current on all vaccinations appropriate for their age. All healthy, adoptable dogs remain with us until they find a forever home. No dogs will be euthanized to make room for other dogs.
