This tiny little love is Dillon. He is 6 years old and just a sweet little boy! He is a Taiwan Dog, also known as a Formosan Mountain Dog mix or a Tugou. He was fortunate to be rescued from the busy streets of Taiwan and now is in a wonderful foster home here in Seattle, awaiting his forever home. Dillon has a clean bill of health but he does have one little quirk: his back legs tremble a bit. We have a video attached to his profile so that you can see...he gets around great and all of his x-rays have come back normal. It is possible that a prior illness in his puppy stage may have caused the tremor, but that is no reason to deny this boy the home he deserves...we think he is perfectly imperfect and aren't we all?
Remember Kahlil Gibran's wise words: "Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars". This boy most definitely has character. Please help him find the happiness he so deserves, his soul is strong and he will thank you forever.
Taiwan Dogs are a wonderful and special breed. Please do a little research on our website www.saltydogrescue.org to find out more about the breed. These dogs can be a little shy at first but soon blossom into wonderful family companions. They do great with most kids and dogs as well. Show Dillon that while no one is "perfect", he is the perfect boy for you.
Dillon's adoption fee is $200.00, which includes neuter, microchip and vaccinations.

Hi, This email is by way of an introduction to our new family member. Stevie, our seven month old pitbull, is a rescue from Seattle. She comes from a terrific volunteer group called Salty Dog Rescue. She is sweet, gentle and shy. She loves kids, dogs and cats. She chases moths and birds. She smells flowers and thinks she belongs on my bed. We took this photo yesterday, on our way home from Seattle. She spent the entire drive on Nora's lap. They were both happy girls. We are remembering how much work it takes to integrate a puppy into our family (and loving it). We follow her around to ensure she doesn't chew Nora's toys or shoes and we spend a great deal of time smiling and laughing. Today she decided the window-bench in the kitchen is her favorite place to perch. We have already introduced her to the pet store down the street -- they swooned appropriately and fed her buckets of treats. Okay, I'm off to take Stevie for her second walk of the day. Hope this email finds you well. Love, Jada, Nora and Stevie (Nicks)
