Who We Are
Second Chance Dogs is a non-profit organization designed to help Rescue, Rehabilitate and Re-home abandoned, abused, neglected and forgotten dogs into Loving Forever Homes. As we are NOT a shelter, Second Chance Dogs needs more volunteers and foster homes for our loved ones during the rehabilitation process. Before any of the Second Chance Dogs are re-homed, we interview and inspect prospective caretakers to insure that the right caretaker is matched with the right dog.
We are always accepting donations. 100% of donations are used for rehabilitation for the dogs. Every member of SCD is a volunteer and all administrative costs are donated.
Adopting a friend
Please contact one of our members for an application form for adoption. We will be happy to email or mail a form to you!
We do not allow our dogs to be placed on chains, locked in garages or crated 6-10 hours a day while someone is at work. We are looking for "loving homes" for all our dogs. Dogs are a part of the family and we want or adopted dogs to be allowed in the home. Dogs are a blessing, a gift from our Heavenly father.

At this time, we do not have a shelter. We work with foster homes during the transition process into a forever loving home. If you are interested in providing a foster home, please contact us!
