Who We Are
"SCC" is a 501(c)3 non-profit pet adoption referral organization dedicated to helping animals in SW Washington and Greater Portland who are homeless, or about to be homeless, find deserving homes. We are a humane no-kill organization staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers.
Although we do not run an independent shelter, we maintain a weekly list with hundreds of pets just waiting to have a family of their own, and also provide referrals. If you are interested in adopting, and committed to providing a loving home for the duration of a pets lifetime, we have many who would love to be your new companion.
Adopting a friend
Feel free to contact us for more information. We would love to help you find a new friend! We screen all applicants to ensure a safe and loving home for each companion.
**IMPORTANT ADOPTION TIP ** If you are interested in finding a pet for your family, it is very important to fill out an application. Once you fill out the application, then it is so much quicker and easier to help you. Also, please write down who you talked to or emailed. We have a number of counselors who are taking phone calls or email applications at this time. If you know who you talked to, it will make your future inquiries much more successful.

Dogs:
Puppies (6 months and younger): $150
Dogs over 6 months: $100
Exceptions:
Purebred: $250
Elderly or Medical Issues: $60
Cats:
Kittens (6 months and younger): $100
Cats over 6 months: $50
Exceptions:
Purebred: $150
Elderly or Medical Issues: $35
