Lyrical has been here at Sunny Acres for more than 3 years. She came to us with intermittent lameness issues.
After full exam and X-rays, I found out she had navicular disease. A friend of mine in Colorado had been having great results
rehabilitating navicular horses. So, after talking at length about Lyrical's condition, I was able to plan out a path towards trying to get her sound again. It has taken a long time and lots of patience (and hoof trims!), but Lyrical is now sound at walk, trot, canter.
Lyrical is a wonderfully sweet and gentle mare. She is very easy to handle, and enjoys attention. Lyrical will be best suited for someone who enjoys light riding like arena work or short trail rides. She is the type of horse you can ride once a month, and she is
just as good as the last time you rode her.
You can see more pictures of Lyrical on her own Petfinder page. If you would like to give Lyrical a forever home,
please contact Sunny Acres Ranch to fill out an Adoption Application.
